حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ زَاذَانَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، قَالَ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي جَنَازَةِ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ فَانْتَهَيْنَا إِلَى الْقَبْرِ وَلَمْ يُلْحَدْ بَعْدُ فَجَلَسَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةِ وَجَلَسْنَا مَعَهُ .
English Translation
Hadrat al-Bara' ibn Azib (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated: We went out with the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) for the funeral of a man of the Ansar. When we reached the grave, the lateral niche had not yet been dug. The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) sat down facing the qiblah, and we sat with him.
Urdu Translation
حضرت براء بن عازب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں: ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ انصار کے ایک شخص کے جنازے میں نکلے۔ جب ہم قبر پر پہنچے تو ابھی لحد نہیں کھودی گئی تھی۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم قبلے کی طرف رخ کر کے بیٹھ گئے اور ہم بھی آپ کے ساتھ بیٹھ گئے۔
