Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ أَوْصَى الْحَارِثُ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ، عَلَيْهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَهُ الْقَبْرَ مِنْ قِبَلِ رِجْلَىِ الْقَبْرِ وَقَالَ هَذَا مِنَ السُّنَّةِ .
English Translation
Abu Ishaq narrated: Al-Harith made a bequest that Hadrat Abdullah ibn Yazid (may Allah be well pleased with him) should lead his funeral prayer. He prayed over him, then placed him in the grave from the side of the feet, and said: This is the Sunnah (established practice).
Urdu Translation
ابواسحاق سے روایت ہے: حارث نے وصیت کی کہ ان کی نمازِ جنازہ حضرت عبداللہ بن یزید رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ پڑھائیں۔ انہوں نے ان کی نماز پڑھائی، پھر انہیں قبر میں پاؤں کی طرف سے داخل کیا اور فرمایا: یہ مسنون طریقہ ہے۔
