حَدَّثَنَا مَخْلَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ أُخْبِرَ بِقَوْلِ، عَائِشَةَ رضى الله عنها إِنَّ الْحَجَرَ بَعْضُهُ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ . فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لأَظُنُّ عَائِشَةَ إِنْ كَانَتْ سَمِعَتْ هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِنِّي لأَظُنُّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَمْ يَتْرُكِ اسْتِلاَمَهُمَا إِلاَّ أَنَّهُمَا لَيْسَا عَلَى قَوَاعِدِ الْبَيْتِ وَلاَ طَافَ النَّاسُ وَرَاءَ الْحِجْرِ إِلاَّ لِذَلِكَ .
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) that when he was informed of the statement of Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Aisha al-Siddiqah (may Allah be well pleased with her) that a portion of al-Hijr is included within the Sacred Ka'bah, Hadrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) said: By Allah! I believe that Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Aisha (may Allah be well pleased with her) must have heard this from the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). I believe the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) only refrained from touching those two corners (the Iraqi and Syrian corners) because they were not upon the original foundations of the Sacred House, and it is for this very reason that people circumambulate behind al-Hijr.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ جب انہیں حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کا یہ قول پہنچا کہ حطیم کا ایک حصہ بیت اللہ شریف میں شامل ہے، تو حضرت ابنِ عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما نے فرمایا: اللہ کی قسم! میرا گمان ہے کہ حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے یہ بات ضرور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے سنی ہوگی۔ میں سمجھتا ہوں کہ سرکارِ دو عالم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ان دونوں (رکنِ عراقی اور رکنِ شامی) کا استلام بھی اسی وجہ سے ترک فرمایا ہوگا کہ یہ بیت اللہ کی اصلی بنیادوں پر نہیں تھے، اور اسی سبب سے لوگ حطیم کے پیچھے سے طواف کرتے ہیں۔
