حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الطَّائِفِيَّ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، قَالَ قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " التَّكْبِيرُ فِي الْفِطْرِ سَبْعٌ فِي الأُولَى وَخَمْسٌ فِي الآخِرَةِ وَالْقِرَاءَةُ بَعْدَهُمَا كِلْتَيْهِمَا " .
English Translation
Hadrat Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates: 'The Noble the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: "The takbirat in Eid al-Fitr are seven in the first (rak'ah) and five in the last, and the recitation comes after them both."'
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن حضرت عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں: نبی اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: عید الفطر میں تکبیریں پہلی (رکعت) میں سات اور آخری میں پانچ ہیں — اور قراءت دونوں (تکبیروں) کے بعد ہے۔
