حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي جَنَابٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْبَرَاءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نُوِّلَ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ قَوْسًا فَخَطَبَ عَلَيْهِ .
English Translation
Hadrat Bara' (ibn 'Azib, may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates that on the day of Eid, the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was given a bow, and he delivered the khutbah leaning upon it.
Urdu Translation
حضرت براء (بن عازب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما) سے مروی ہے کہ عید کے دن نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو ایک کمان دی گئی — آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اس پر ٹیک لگا کر خطبہ ارشاد فرمایا۔
