Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9619 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ أَرْسَلَ عُثْمَانُ إِلَى أَبِي يَسْأَلُهُ عَنْهَا فَقَالَ أَبِي «كَيْفَ يُفْتِي مُنَافِقٌ؟» فَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ نُعِيذُكَ بِاللهِ أَنْ تَكُونَ مُنَافِقًا وَنَعُوذُ بِاللهِ أَنْ نُسَمِّيَكَ مُنَافِقًا وَنُعِيذُكَ بِاللهِ أَنْ يَكُونَ مِثْلُ هَذَا فِي الْإِسْلَامِ ثُمَّ يَمُوتُ وَلَمْ يُبَيِّنْهُ قَالَ «فَإِنِّي أَرَى أَنَّهُ أَحَقُّ بِهَا حَتَّى تَغْتَسِلَ مِنَ الْحَيْضَةِ الثَّالِثَةِ وَتَحِلُّ لَهَا الصَّلَاةُ» قَالَ فَلَا أَعْلَمُ عُثْمَانَ إِلَّا أَخَذَ ذَلِكَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Ubaydah ibn Abdullah ibn Mas'ud said: 'Uthman sent word to my father asking him about the matter. My father said: "How can a hypocrite give a ruling?" Uthman said: "We seek refuge with Allah from your being a hypocrite, and we seek refuge with Allah from calling you a hypocrite, and we seek refuge with Allah that such a matter exists in Islam and then one dies without clarifying it." He said: "I hold that he is more entitled to her until she performs ghusl from the third menstruation and prayer becomes permissible for her." I do not know but that Uthman accepted that.'
