الترجمة الإنجليزية
Sahl ibn Sa'd narrated that a woman came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) with a woven cloak with its edges. She said: "O Messenger of Allah, I wove this with my own hands and came to clothe you with it." A man — he named him — felt it and said: "O Messenger of Allah, how beautiful this cloak is! Clothe me with it!" He said: "Yes." When he entered (his house), he folded it and sent it to him. The people said: "By Allah, you did not do well! The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was given it while he needed it, then you asked him for it knowing that he never refuses anyone who asks." The man said: "By Allah, I did not ask for it to wear it. I only asked for it so that it would be my shroud when I die." Sahl said: "And it was indeed his shroud when he died."
