Khabbab said: 'We came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) while he was reclining on a garment of his in the shade of the Ka'bah. We said: O Messenger of Allah, will you not supplicate to Allah? Will you not seek victory? He sat up with his face reddened in anger and said: Those before you - a pit would be dug for one of them, then he would be placed in it, then a saw would be placed on his head, then he would be combed with iron combs through his flesh to his bones, and that would not turn him from his religion. But you are hasty. By Allah, this matter will be completed until a rider travels from San'a to Hadramawt fearing nothing but Allah and the wolf for his sheep.'
