Khabbab ibn al-Aratt said: 'We complained to the Prophet (peace be upon him) while he was reclining on a cloak of his in the shade of the Ka'bah. We said: Will you not seek victory for us? Will you not supplicate for us? He said: Those before you - a man would be taken and combed with iron combs through his flesh and bones, and that would not turn him away from his religion. By Allah, this matter will be completed until a rider travels from San'a to Hadramawt fearing nothing but Allah - or the wolf for his sheep - but you are hasty.'
