الترجمة الإنجليزية
Narrated al-Harith ibn Amr: I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) while he was at Mina or Arafat, and the Bedouins would come, and when they saw his face, they said, 'This is a blessed face.' I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, seek forgiveness for me.' He said, 'O Allah, forgive us.' I went around and said again, 'O Messenger of Allah, seek forgiveness for me.' He said, 'O Allah, forgive us.' Then he was about to spit, so he caught his saliva with his hand and wiped it on his sandal, disliking that it should touch anyone around him. Then he said, 'O people, what day is this? Your blood and your wealth are sacred to one another, like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this month of yours, in this land of yours. O Allah, have I conveyed? Let those present convey to those absent.' He also commanded charity and said, 'Give in charity, for I do not know, perhaps you will not see me after this day of mine.' He designated Yalamlam for the people of Yemen to enter ihram from, and Dhat Irq for the people of Iraq or the people of the East. A man asked him about the Atirah (sacrifice), and he said, 'Whoever wishes may sacrifice and whoever wishes may not. Whoever wishes may do the Far' (first-born sacrifice) and whoever wishes may not.' He said regarding sheep, 'Their sacrifice,' indicating with his right hand fingers.
