Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:2542 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ضِرَارُ بْنُ صُرَدَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُيَسِّرٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ فَيْرُوزَ عَنْ سُورَةَ بِنْتِ مِشْرَحٍ قَالَتْ كُنْتُ فِيمَنْ حَضَرَ فَاطِمَةَ ؓ حِينَ ضَرَبَهَا الْمَخَاضُ فِي نِسْوَةٍ فَأَتَانَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «كَيْفَ هِيَ؟» قُلْتُ إِنَّهَا لَمَجْهُودَةٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «فَإِذَا هِيَ وَضَعَتْ فَلَا تَسْبِقِينِي فِيهِ بِشَيْءٍ» قَالَتْ فَوَضَعَتْ فَسَرُّوهُ ولَفّفُوهُ فِي خِرْقَةٍ صَفْرَاءَ فَجَاءَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «مَا فَعَلَتْ؟» قُلْتُ قَدْ وَلَدَتْ غُلَامًا وسَرَرْتُهُ ولفَفْتُهُ فِي خِرْقَةٍ قَالَ «عَصَيْتِنِي» قَالَتْ أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ مَعْصِيَةِ اللهِ وَمِنْ غَضَبِ رَسُولِهِ قَالَ «ائْتِينِي بِهِ» فَأَتَيْتُهُ بِهِ فَأَلْقَى الْخِرْقَةَ الصَّفْرَاءَ ولَفَّهُ فِي خِرْقَةٍ بَيْضَاءَ وَتَفَلَ فِي فِيهِ وأَلْبَأَهُ بِرِيقِهِ فَجَاءَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ فَقَالَ «مَا سَمَّيْتَهُ يَا عَلِيُّ؟» قَالَ سَمَّيْتُهُ جَعْفَرًا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «لَا وَلَكِنْ حَسَنٌ وَبَعْدَهُ حُسَيْنٌ وَأَنْتَ أَبُو حَسَنِ الْخَيْرِ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Surah bint Misrah said: I was among the women who attended Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) when labor pains seized her. The Prophet (peace be upon him) came to us and said: "How is she?" I said: "She is in great difficulty, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "When she delivers, do not do anything to the baby before I come." She delivered, and they cut the cord and wrapped him in a yellow cloth. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came and said: "What did she do?" I said: "She gave birth to a boy. We cut his cord and wrapped him in a cloth." He said: "You have disobeyed me!" She said: "I seek refuge in Allah from disobeying Allah and from the anger of His Messenger!" He said: "Bring him to me." I brought the baby. He removed the yellow cloth, wrapped him in a white cloth, spat gently into his mouth, and gave him his first nursing with his saliva. Then 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came, and he said: "What did you name him, O 'Ali?" He said: "I named him Ja'far, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "No, rather he is Hasan, and after him Husayn, and you are Abu Hasan al-Khayr (the father of goodness)."
