Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:1629 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ الْبَجَلِيُّ ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ خِرَاشٍ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ أَبَا ذَرًّ بِالرَّبَذَةِ فِي ظُلَّةٍ لَهُ سَوْدَاءَ وَتَحْتَهُ امْرَأَةٌ لَهُ سَمْحَاءُ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ عَلَى قِطْعَةِ جَوَالِقَ فَقِيلَ لَهُ يَا أَبَا ذَرًّ إِنَّكَ امْرُؤٌ مَا يَبْقَى لَكَ وَلَدٌ فَقَالَ «الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهُ الَّذِي يَأْخُذُهُمْ فِي الْفِنَاءِ وَيَدَّخِرُهمْ فِي دَارِ الْبَقَاءِ» قَالُوا يَا أَبَا ذَرًّ لَوِ اتَّخَذْتَ امْرَأَةً غَيْرَ هَذِهِ؟ قَالَ «لَأَنْ أَتَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً تَضَعُنِي أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنِ امْرَأَةٍ تَرْفَعُنِي» قَالُوا لَوِ اتَّخَذْتَ بِسَاطًا أَلْيَنَ مِنْ هَذَا؟ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ غَفْرًا خُذْ مَا خَوَّلْتَ مَا بَدَا لَكَ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Narrated 'Abdullah ibn Khirash: I saw Abu Dharr at al-Rabadhah in a black tent with a dark-skinned wife, sitting on a piece of sackcloth. It was said to him: "O Abu Dharr, you are a man whose children do not survive." He said: "Praise be to Allah who takes them in this perishable world and stores them in the Abode of Eternity." They said: "O Abu Dharr, why not marry a woman other than this one?" He said: "To marry a woman who humbles me is more beloved to me than a woman who elevates me." They said: "Why not get a mat softer than this?" He said: "O Allah, forgive! Take back what You have bestowed whenever You wish."
