Narrated Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) cursed the one who consumes riba (usury), the one who pays it, the one who records it, and the witnesses to it — all of them. And he said: "They are all equal." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 955]

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے سود کھانے والے، اور سود کھلانے والے، سود لکھنے والے اور سود کے گواہوں سب پر لعنت فرمائی ہے۔ اور فرمایا کہ وہ سب برابر ہیں۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 955]
