It is narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to the women of the Ansar: Whichever of you has three sons die and she is patient for the sake of Allah's pleasure will enter Paradise. A woman said: O Messenger of Allah! And if two children die? He said: Even two. From another chain it is narrated as a marfu' report that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: The Fire of Hell will not touch any Muslim whose three children die, except as a fulfillment of the oath (that is, Allah said, "There is none among you but that he will pass over it," so for this reason his passing too will be over the Hell, but he will not be punished in any other way). الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے انصار کی عورتوں سے فرمایا کہ تم میں سے جس کے تین لڑکے مر جائیں اور وہ (عورت) اللہ کی رضامندی کے واسطے صبر کرے، تو جنت میں جائے گی۔ ایک عورت بولی کہ یا رسول اللہ! اگر دو بچے مریں تو؟ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ دو ہی سہی۔ ایک دوسری سند سے مرفوعاً روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ جس مسلمان کے تین بچے مر جائیں اس کو جہنم کی آگ نہ لگے گی مگر قسم اتارنے کے لئے (یعنی اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا کہ”تم میں سے کوئی ایسا نہیں ہے جو دوزخ پر سے نہ گزرے“اس وجہ سے اس کا گزر بھی دوزخ پر سے ہو گا لیکن اور کسی طرح عذاب نہ ہو گا)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 460]
