Narrated Nu'man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to recite in the two Eids and in the Friday prayer "Sabbih isma Rabbika al-A'la" and "Hal ataka hadith al-ghashiyah." And when the Friday and Eid fell on the same day, he would recite these same two surahs in both prayers. [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim/Hadith: 416]

سیدنا نعمان بن بشیر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمعیدین اور جمعہ میں”سبح اسم ربک الاعلیٰ“اور”ھل اتاک حدیث الغاشیۃ“پڑھا کرتے تھے۔ اور جب جمعہ اور عید دونوں ایک دن میں ہوتیں، تب بھی انہی دونوں سورتوں کو دونوں نمازوں میں پڑھتے تھے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 416]
