Narrated Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "A servant is closest to his Lord while in the state of prostration, so make much supplication in prostration."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: بندہ اپنے رب سے زیادہ قریب سجدہ کی حالت میں ہوتا ہے، اس لئے سجدہ میں بہت دعا کیا کرو۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 298]
