Sayyiduna Suhayb (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Wonderful is the affair of the believer! In every matter of his there is good, and this is for no one but the believer. If joy comes to him and he gives thanks, there is reward in it; and if harm befalls him and he is patient over it, there is reward in that too."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا صہیب رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: مومن کا بھی عجب حال ہے، اس کے ہر معاملے میں بھلائی ہی بھلائی ہے۔ اور یہ بات سوائے مومن کے کسی کو حاصل نہیں ہے۔ اگر اس کو خوشی حاصل ہوئی اور اس نے شکر ادا کیا تو اس میں بھی ثواب ہے اور جو اس کو نقصان پہنچا اور اس پر صبر کیا، تو اس میں بھی ثواب ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2092]
