Sayyiduna Usama ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "I stood at the gate of Paradise, and I saw that most of those inside were the poor (of the world), while the wealthy rich were held back (for their reckoning), though the poor believers who lived in poverty had already entered Paradise without reckoning. As for the people of the Fire, they had already been ordered into the Fire. And I stood at the gate of the Fire and saw that most of those there were women."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا اسامہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: میں جنت کے دروازے پر کھڑا ہوا، وہاں دیکھا تو اس کے اندر اکثر وہ لوگ ہیں جو (دنیا میں) مسکین ہیں اور امیر مالدار لوگ (حساب و کتاب کے لئے) روکے گئے ہیں (جبکہ فقر کی زندگی گزارنے والے مومن تو بغیر حساب و کتاب جنت میں جا چکے ہوں گے) اور جو دوزخی ہیں، ان کو تو دوزخ میں جانے کا حکم ہو چکا۔ اور میں نے دوزخ کے دروازے پر کھڑا ہو کر دیکھا تو وہاں عورتیں زیادہ ہیں۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2077]
