Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saying: "Every person will be raised on the Day of Resurrection in the state in which he died (that is, upon disbelief or faith. So what counts is the ending and the intention at the final moment)."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہمیں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سنا، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمفرماتے تھے کہ ہر آدمی قیامت کے دن اسی حالت پر اٹھے گا، جس حالت پر مرا تھا (یعنی کفر یا ایمان پر۔ تو اعتبار خاتمہ کا ہے اور آخری وقت کی نیت کا ہے)[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1948]
