Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "The hairsplitters have perished (that is, those who engage in pointless hairsplitting, those who go to extremes beyond bounds, and those who are fanatical)." He said it three times.
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: بال کی کھال اتارنے والے تباہ ہوئے (یعنی بےفائدہ موشگافی کرنے والے حد سے زیادہ بڑھنے والے اور تعصب کرنے والے)۔ تین بار یہی فرمایا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1824]
