وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ وَرَأَى سِكَّةً وَشَيْئًا مِنْ آلَةِ الْحَرْثِ فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَا يَدْخُلُ هَذَا بَيْتَ قوم إِلَّا أدخلهُ الذل» . رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Abu Umama on seeing a ploughshare and some agricultural instruments told that he had heard the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) say, “This will not enter any people’s house without God causing ignominy to enter it*.” Bukhari transmitted it. *This tradition says that agriculture is a less noble occupation than jihad.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت ابوامامہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے ہل اور کھیتی کے آلات دیکھے تو فرمایا: میں نے نبی صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: یہ کسی قوم کے گھر میں داخل نہیں ہوتا مگر اللہ تعالیٰ اس میں ذلت داخل کر دیتا ہے۔ (بخاری)
