وَعَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ مُرْسَلًا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حثا عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ ثَلَاثَ حَثَيَاتٍ بِيَدَيْهِ جَمِيعًا وَأَنَّهُ رَشَّ عَلَى قَبْرِ ابْنِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَوَضَعَ عَلَيْهِ حَصْبَاءَ. رَوَاهُ فِي شَرْحِ السُّنَّةِ وَرَوَى الشَّافِعِيُّ من قَوْله: «رش»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ja'far b. Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) told in mursal form on his father’s authority that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) cast three handfuls of earth on the dead with both hands, that he sprinkled water on his son Ibrahim (upon him be peace)’s grave, and that he put small pebbles on it. It is transmitted in Sharh as-sunna, and Shafi’i transmitted from “he sprinkled".
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت جعفر بن محمد اپنے والد سے مرسلاً روایت کرتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے میت پر دونوں ہاتھوں سے تین مٹھی مٹی ڈالی، اور اپنے بیٹے حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام کی قبر پر پانی چھڑکا اور اس پر کنکریاں رکھیں۔ (شرح السنہ۔ امام شافعی نے بھی اس کا حصہ روایت کیا ہے)
