الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: We used to say the greeting during the prayer. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would greet to his right and his left: "Peace be upon so-and-so." Until the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Indeed, Allah creates from His command what He wills, and indeed, from what Allah has created is that you should not speak in prayer. So when one of you is in prayer, he should not speak. And the greeting in it is Tasbih, and the gesture in it is with the hand."
