أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ قَ��لَ سَمِعْتُ مَنْصُورَ بْنَ الْمُعْتَمِرِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْبَرَاءُ بْنُ عَازِبٍ قَالَ قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا أَخَذْتَ مَضْجَعَكَ فَتَوَضَّأْ وُضُوءَكَ لِلصَّلَاةِ ثُمَّ اضْطَجِعْ عَلَى شِقِّكَ الْأَيْمَنِ ثُمَّ قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ أَسْلَمْتُ وَجْهِي إِلَيْكَ وَفَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِي إِلَيْكَ وَأَلْجَأْتُ ظَهْرِي إِلَيْكَ رَغْبَةً وَرَهْبَةً إِلَيْكَ لَا مَلْجَأَ وَلَا مَنْجَا مِنْكَ إِلَّا إِلَيْكَ آمَنْتُ بِكِتَابِكَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلْتَ وَبِنَبِيِّكَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلْتَ وَاجْعَلْهُ آخِرَ مَا تَقُولُ فَإِنْ مِتَّ مِتَّ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ» فَقُلْتُ أَسْتَذْكِرُهُنَّ وَبِرَسُولِكَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلْتَ؟ فَقَالَ «وَبِنَبِيِّكَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلْتَ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Qutayba informed us, he said: Ibn Abi al-Sarri informed us, he said: Mu'tamir narrated to us, he said: I heard Mansur ibn al-Mu'tamir narrate from Sa'd ibn Ubayda, he said: Al-Bara' ibn Azib narrated to me, he said: The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said: 'When you take to your bed, perform ablution as you would for prayer, then lie down on your right side, then say: O Allah, I have submitted my face to You, and delegated my affairs to You, and entrusted my back to You, out of desire and fear of You. There is no refuge or escape from You except to You. I believe in Your Book which You have revealed and in Your Prophet whom You have sent. And make it the last thing you say. If you die, you will die upon the natural disposition.' So I said: Should I memorize them as: and in Your Messenger whom You have sent? He said: 'And in Your Prophet whom You have sent.'
