Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Abd al-Hakam informed us, Ibn Wahb informed us, Mu'awiyah ibn Salih informed me from Abd al-Rahman ibn A'idh al-Azdi, from Hadrat Amr ibn Abasah al-Sulami (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was inspecting horses while Uyaynah ibn Badr al-Fazari was with him. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said to him: 'I know more about horses than you.' Uyaynah replied: 'And I know more about men than you.' The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) asked: 'Then who are the best of men?' He said: 'Men who carry their swords on their shoulders and their spears on the withers of their horses, from the men of Najd.' The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'You have lied. Rather, the best of men are the men of Yemen. Faith is Yemeni, reaching to Lakhm and Judham. The consumed of Himyar are better than its consumers. Hadramawt is better than the Banu al-Harith. By Allah, I would not care if both the Hariths perished together. May Allah curse the four kings: Jamd, Mikhwas, Abda'ah, and their sister al-Amarradah.' Then he stated: 'My Lord commanded me to curse Quraysh twice, so I cursed them, and He commanded me to pray for blessings upon them, so I prayed for them twice, twice.' Then he stated: 'May Allah curse Tamim ibn Murrah five times and Bakr ibn Wa'il seven times, and may Allah curse two tribes from the tribes of Banu Tamim: Muqa'is and Muladis.' Then he stated: 'Usayyah has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger -- Abd al-Qays, Ja'dah, and Ismah.' Then he stated: 'Aslam, Ghifar, Muzaynah, and their allies from Juhaynah are better than Banu Asad, Tamim, Ghatafan, and Hawazin in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection.' Then he stated: 'The worst two tribes among the Arabs are Najran and Banu Taghlib, and the tribe with the most people in Paradise is Madhhij.' This hadith has an unusual text but an authentic chain, though neither narrated it. Authentic, unusual.
الترجمة الأردية
ابو العباس محمد بن یعقوب نے ہم سے بیان کیا، محمد بن عبد اللہ بن عبد الحکم نے ہمیں خبر دی، ابن وہب نے ہمیں خبر دی، معاویہ بن صالح نے مجھے عبد الرحمٰن بن عائذ الازدی سے خبر دی، وہ حضرت عمرو بن عبسہ السلمی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ سرکارِ دو عالم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم گھوڑوں کا معائنہ فرما رہے تھے اور آپ کے پاس عیینہ بن بدر الفزاری تھے۔ سرکارِ دو عالم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا: 'میں تم سے زیادہ گھوڑوں کی پہچان رکھتا ہوں۔' عیینہ نے کہا: اور میں آپ سے زیادہ مردوں کی پہچان رکھتا ہوں۔ سرکارِ دو عالم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: 'تو سب سے بہتر مرد کون ہیں؟' اس نے کہا: وہ مرد جو اپنی تلواریں اپنے کندھوں پر اور نیزے اپنے گھوڑوں کی گردنوں پر رکھتے ہیں، نجد کے مرد۔ سرکارِ دو عالم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: 'تم نے جھوٹ بولا۔ بلکہ بہترین مرد یمن کے مرد ہیں۔ ایمان یمنی ہے، لخم اور جذام تک پہنچتا ہے۔ حمیر کا کھایا ہوا اس کے کھانے والوں سے بہتر ہے۔ حضرموت بنو الحارث سے بہتر ہیں۔ اللہ کی قسم! مجھے پروا نہیں اگر دونوں حارث ہلاک ہو جائیں۔ اللہ چار بادشاہوں پر لعنت فرمائے: جمد، مخوس، ابضعہ، اور ان کی بہن العمردہ۔' پھر ارشاد فرمایا: 'میرے رب نے مجھے حکم دیا کہ قریش پر دو مرتبہ لعنت کروں تو میں نے ان پر لعنت کی، اور مجھے حکم دیا کہ ان پر درود بھیجوں تو میں نے ان پر دو مرتبہ دو مرتبہ درود بھیجا۔' پھر ارشاد فرمایا: 'اللہ تمیم بن مرہ پر پانچ مرتبہ لعنت فرمائے اور بکر بن وائل پر سات مرتبہ، اور اللہ بنو تمیم کے دو قبیلوں پر لعنت فرمائے: مقاعس اور ملادس۔' پھر ارشاد فرمایا: 'عصیہ نے اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی نافرمانی کی -- عبد القیس، جعدہ، اور عصمہ۔' پھر ارشاد فرمایا: 'اسلم، غفار، مزینہ، اور جہینہ سے ان کے حلیف بنو اسد، تمیم، غطفان، اور ہوازن سے اللہ کے نزدیک قیامت کے دن بہتر ہیں۔' پھر ارشاد فرمایا: 'عرب میں سب سے بُرے دو قبیلے نجران اور بنو تغلب ہیں، اور جنت میں سب سے زیادہ قبیلہ مذحج ہے۔' یہ غریب المتن حدیث ہے مگر صحیح الاسناد ہے اگرچہ دونوں نے اسے نہیں نکالا۔ صحیح غریب۔
