حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ الْعَتَكِيُّ قَالَا ثنا السَّرِيُّ بْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «جَاهِدُوا الْمُشْرِكِينَ بِأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنْفُسِكُمْ وَأَلْسِنَتِكُمْ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ على شرط مسلم
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Narrated from Hadrat Zayd ibn Thabit (may Allah be well pleased with him), he said: I was beside the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) when tranquility descended upon him, and the thigh of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) fell upon my thigh. I never felt anything heavier than the thigh of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) on my thigh. Then the state was lifted from him and he stated: 'Write.' So I wrote on a shoulder-bone: 'Not equal are those of the believers who sit (at home) — except those who are disabled — and those who strive in the cause of Allah' [al-Nisa 4:95] to the end of the verse. Then Ibn Umm Maktum stood up — and he was a blind man — when he heard the virtue of the warriors, and he submitted: 'O Messenger of Allah, what about those among the believers who are unable to fight?' When he finished speaking, tranquility descended upon the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) again, and his thigh fell upon my thigh, and I felt its weight the second time just as I had felt it the first time. Then the state was lifted from the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and he stated: 'Read, O Zayd.' So I read: 'Not equal are those of the believers who sit (at home).' Then the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Except those who are disabled' — the entire verse. Zayd said: Allah revealed it by itself, so I appended it. By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, it is as if I can see the place where it was appended, at a crack in the shoulder-bone. This hadith has a sound chain and they [al-Bukhari and Muslim] did not record it.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت زید بن ثابت رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے مروی ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا: میں محبوب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پہلو میں تھا، جب آپ پر سکینت نازل ہوئی اور آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی ران میری ران پر آ گئی۔ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی ران سے زیادہ بھاری کوئی چیز نہیں پائی۔ پھر آپ سے وہ حالت اٹھ گئی تو آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: 'لکھو۔' تو میں نے ایک شانے کی ہڈی پر لکھا: 'مؤمنوں میں سے بیٹھ رہنے والے - سوائے معذوروں کے - اور اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کرنے والے برابر نہیں' [النساء: 95] آیت کے آخر تک۔ تو ابنِ اُمّ مکتوم کھڑے ہوئے - اور وہ نابینا تھے - جب انہوں نے مجاہدین کی فضیلت سنی تو عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! مؤمنوں میں سے جو جہاد کی طاقت نہیں رکھتے ان کا کیا حکم ہے؟ جب انہوں نے بات مکمل کی تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم پر دوبارہ سکینت نازل ہوئی اور آپ کی ران میری ران پر آ گئی اور میں نے دوسری مرتبہ بھی ویسا ہی بوجھ محسوس کیا جیسا پہلی مرتبہ۔ پھر آپ سے حالت اٹھ گئی تو ارشاد فرمایا: 'پڑھو اے زید۔' تو میں نے پڑھا: 'مؤمنوں میں سے بیٹھ رہنے والے برابر نہیں۔' تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: 'سوائے معذوروں کے' پوری آیت۔ زید نے فرمایا: اللہ نے اسے علیحدہ نازل فرمایا تو میں نے اسے ملحق کیا۔ اس ذات کی قسم جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے، گویا میں اس کے ملحق ہونے کی جگہ دیکھ رہا ہوں، شانے کی ہڈی میں ایک دراڑ کے پاس۔ یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے اور انہوں (بخاری و مسلم) نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا۔
