Narrated Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): Toward the end of his life, the Prophet (peace be upon him) led us in Isha prayer. When he finished with the salam, he stood up and said: "Take note of this night of yours, for by the end of a hundred years from tonight, no one currently on the face of the earth will remain."

سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے (ایک مرتبہ) اپنی اخیر عمر مبارک میں عشاء کی نماز پڑھائی پھر جب سلام پھیر چکے تو کھڑے ہو گئے اور فرمایا:”تم اپنی اس رات کو اچھی طرح یاد رکھنا (دیکھو) آج کی رات سے سو برس کے آخر تک کوئی شخص جو زمین پر ہے باقی نہ رہے گا۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 96]
