Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that he was traveling with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) on the return from Arafah. The Prophet (peace be upon him) heard behind him a loud commotion and the sound of camels being beaten. He gestured toward them with his whip and said: "O people, maintain calmness! Hastening the camels is not an act of piety."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہوہ عرفہ کے دن رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ہمراہ (عرفات سے واپسی پر) چلے (وہ کہتے ہیں کہ) نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اپنے پیچھے بہت زیادہ شور اور اونٹوں کو مارنے کی آواز سنی تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اپنے کوڑے سے ان کی طرف اشارہ کیا اور فرمایا:”اے لوگو! سکون کو قائم رکھو، کیونکہ اونٹوں کا دوڑانا کوئی نیکی نہیں ہے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 833]
