Narrated Jundab (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever does a good deed in order to be heard of by others, Allah the Exalted will (on the Day of Resurrection) make his evil intention heard by all; and whoever does a good deed to be seen by people, Allah the Exalted will (on the Day of Resurrection) expose his true reality before all people." (And they will receive no reward.)
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا جندب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”جو شخص خلقت کو سنانے کے لیے کوئی نیک کام کرے گا تو اللہ تعالیٰ (قیامت کے دن) اس کی بدنیتی سب کو سنا دے گا اور جس نے لوگوں کو دکھانے کے لیے کوئی نیک کام کیا تو اللہ تعالیٰ بھی قیامت کے دن اس کی اصل حقیقت سب لوگوں کو دکھا دے گا۔“(اور ان کو کچھ ثواب نہیں ملے گا)۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2116]
