حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، عَارِمُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مَاهَكَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ تَخَلَّفَ عَنَّا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي سَفْرَةٍ سَافَرْنَاهَا، فَأَدْرَكَنَا وَقَدْ أَرْهَقَتْنَا الصَّلاَةُ وَنَحْنُ نَتَوَضَّأُ، فَجَعَلْنَا نَمْسَحُ عَلَى أَرْجُلِنَا، فَنَادَى بِأَعْلَى صَوْتِهِ " وَيْلٌ لِلأَعْقَابِ مِنَ النَّارِ ". مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلاَثًا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates that once the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was left behind during a journey we were on. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) caught up with us when the time for prayer had arrived and we were performing ablution. We were wiping over our feet (without washing them properly), so he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) called out in a loud voice: Woe to the heels from the Fire! He said this two or three times.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ ایک سفر میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ہم سے پیچھے رہ گئے۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ہمارے پاس تشریف لائے جبکہ نماز کا وقت ہو چکا تھا اور ہم وضو کر رہے تھے۔ ہم اپنے پاؤں پر (بغیر دھوئے) ہاتھ پھیرنے لگے تو آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے بلند آواز سے ارشاد فرمایا: ایڑیوں کی خرابی آگ سے ہے۔ دو یا تین بار یہ ارشاد فرمایا۔
