حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ، وَأَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ جَمِيعًا عَنْ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ، - قَالَ أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، - عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مَاهَكَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ تَخَلَّفَ عَنَّا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي سَفَرٍ سَافَرْنَاهُ فَأَدْرَكَنَا وَقَدْ حَضَرَتْ صَلاَةُ الْعَصْرِ فَجَعَلْنَا نَمْسَحُ عَلَى أَرْجُلِنَا فَنَادَى " وَيْلٌ لِلأَعْقَابِ مِنَ النَّارِ " .
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat 'Abdullah bin 'Amr (may Allah be well pleased with them both) reported that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) lagged behind us on a journey. We travelled (back) and he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) caught up with us; and then came the time of the afternoon prayer, and as we were going to wipe our feet, he (the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) called out: 'Woe to the heels because of Hell-fire.'
الترجمة الأردية
یوسف بن ماہک نے حضرت عبد اللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت کی، کہا: ایک سفر کے دوران نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ہم سے پیچھے رہ گئے، آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ہمارے پاس تشریف لائے تو عصر کی نماز کا وقت ہو چکا تھا، ہم (میں سے کچھ لوگ) اپنے پاؤں پر (جلدی میں) ہاتھ پھیرنے لگے تو آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے بلند آواز سے ارشاد فرمایا: ''(ان) ایڑیوں کے لیے آگ کا عذاب ہے۔''
