حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو، سَمِعَ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنهم ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لَوْ قَدْ جَاءَ مَالُ الْبَحْرَيْنِ، قَدْ أَعْطَيْتُكَ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا ". فَلَمْ يَجِئْ مَالُ الْبَحْرَيْنِ حَتَّى قُبِضَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَلَمَّا جَاءَ مَالُ الْبَحْرَيْنِ أَمَرَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَنَادَى مَنْ كَانَ لَهُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عِدَةٌ أَوْ دَيْنٌ فَلْيَأْتِنَا. فَأَتَيْتُهُ، فَقُلْتُ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لِي كَذَا وَكَذَا، فَحَثَى لِي حَثْيَةً فَعَدَدْتُهَا فَإِذَا هِيَ خَمْسُمِائَةٍ، وَقَالَ خُذْ مِثْلَيْهَا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Ali bin Abdullah al-Madini narrated to us, from Sufyan bin 'Uyaynah, from 'Amr bin Dinar, who heard from Muhammad bin Ali (al-Baqir), from Hadrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be well pleased with them both), who said: The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: If the revenue from Bahrain arrives, I shall give you this much and this much and this much (gesturing with both hands full). However, the revenue from Bahrain did not arrive during the lifetime of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). When it arrived during the caliphate of Hadrat Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be well pleased with him), he announced: Whoever was promised anything by the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) or whoever is owed a debt by the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), let him come to us. So I came and submitted that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) had promised me such and such. Hadrat Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be well pleased with him) gave me one handful. When I counted, it was five hundred. Then he said: Take twice that amount more.
الترجمة الأردية
ہم سے علی بن عبداللہ مدینی نے بیان کیا، ان سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے عمرو بن دینار نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے محمد بن علی (باقر) سے سنا، اور ان سے حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما نے فرمایا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: اگر بحرین کا مال آ گیا تو میں تمہیں اس طرح اس طرح اور اس طرح (دونوں ہاتھوں سے لپ بھر بھر کر) دوں گا۔ لیکن نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے وصال تک بحرین کا مال نہ آیا۔ پھر جب (حضرت ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کے عہدِ خلافت میں) وہاں سے مال آیا تو حضرت ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے اعلان کرا دیا: جس سے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے کوئی وعدہ کیا ہو یا آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم پر جس کا قرض ہو، وہ ہمارے پاس آئے۔ چنانچہ میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے مجھ سے ایسا ایسا وعدہ فرمایا تھا۔ حضرت ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے مجھے ایک لپ بھر کر دیا۔ میں نے گنا تو پانچ سو تھے۔ پھر فرمایا: اس کے دو گنا اور لے لو۔
