حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن بَشَّار قَال حَدَّثنا عَبد الأعلى قَال حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن عَمْرو عَن أبي سَلَمَة عَن أبي هُرَيرة قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم لا يصبر أحد على لأوائها يعني المدينة وجهدها إلاَّ كُنْتُ لَهُ شَفِيعًا أَوْ شَهِيدًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ولاَ يخرج منها أحد رغبة عنها إلاَّ أبدل الله فيها خير منه والمدينة خير لهم لو كانوا يعلمون وَقال إنها تنفي الخبث كما ينفي الكير خبث الحديد اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم لا يصبر أحد على لأوائها يعني المدينة وجهدها إلاَّ كُنْتُ لَهُ شَفِيعًا أَوْ شَهِيدًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ولاَ يخرج منها أحد رغبة عنها إلاَّ أبدل الله فيها خير منه والمدينة خير لهم لو كانوا يعلمون وَقال إنها تنفي الخبث كما ينفي الكير خبث الحديد
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Bashar narrated to us, he said: Abd al-A'la narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Amr narrated to us, from Abu Salamah, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «No one endures the hardships and difficulties of Madinah except that I will be his intercessor or witness on the Day of Resurrection. No one leaves it turning away from it except that Allah will replace him in it with one who is better. Madinah is better for them if only they knew.» And he stated: «It expels impurity just as the bellows expels the impurity of iron.»
