Ali ibn Ahmad ibn Abdan informed us, Ahmad ibn Ubayd as-Saffar informed us, Mu'adh ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Sulayman narrated to us from Mansur, meaning Ibn Abi al-Aswad, from Ata ibn as-Sa'ib from Muharib ibn Dithar from Ibn Burayda from his father who said: When Ja'far returned from Abyssinia, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him: "What is the most amazing thing you saw?" He said: "I saw a woman with a basket of food on her head. A horseman passed by galloping and knocked it over. She began gathering her food and said: 'Woe to you on the day when the King places His throne and takes the rights of the oppressed from the oppressor.' The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said in confirmation of her words: "No nation is sanctified - or how can a nation be sanctified - in which the rights of the weak are not taken from the strong without any hesitation?" Ali informed us, Ahmad narrated to us, al-Asfati who is al-Abbas ibn al-Fadl narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Sulayman Sa'dawayh narrated to us, Mansur ibn Abi al-Aswad narrated to us from Ata ibn as-Sa'ib from Muharib ibn Dithar from Ibn Burayda from his father with the same. This has been mentioned previously in the Book of Usurpation from Amr ibn Abi Qays from Ata ibn as-Sa'ib with a similar narration. It has also been narrated from another route from Jabir ibn Abdullah.
