أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ بِالْكُوفَةِ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ الْغِفَارِيُّ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى أَنْبَأَ بَشِيرُ بْنُ مُهَاجِرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَا نَقَضَ قَوْمٌ الْعَهْدَ قَطُّ إِلَّا كَانَ الْقَتْلُ بَيْنَهُمْ وَلَا ظَهَرَتِ الْفَاحِشَةُ فِي قَوْمٍ قَطُّ إِلَّا سَلَّطَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَوْتَ وَلَا مَنَعَ قَوْمٌ الزَّكَاةَ إِلَّا حَبَسَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمُ الْقَطْرَ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Ja'far Muhammad ibn ash-Shaybani in Kufa informed us, Ahmad ibn Hazim al-Ghifari narrated to us, Ubaydullah ibn Musa narrated to us, Bashir ibn Muhajir informed us from Abdullah ibn Burayda from his father who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "No people ever broke a covenant except that killing spread among them. Immorality never became widespread among a people except that Allah inflicted death upon them. And no people ever withheld the zakat except that Allah withheld rain from them."
