حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ نَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ نَا أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْأَعْمَشَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ حِمَازٍ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ أَقْبَلْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَزَلْنَا ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةَ فَتَعَجَّلَتْ رِجَالٌ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ وَبَاتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبِتْنَا مَعَهُ فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ سَأَلَ فَقَالَ تَعَجَّلُوا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ وَالنِّسَاءُ أَمَا أَنَّهُمْ سَيَدَعُونَهَا أَحْسَنَ مَا كَانَتْ وَقَالَ لِلَّذِينَ أَقَامُوا مَعَهُ مَعْرُوفًا ثُمَّ قَالَ لَيْتَ شَعْرِي مَتَى تَخْرُجُ نَارٌ مِنَ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ جَبَلِ الْوَرْقَانِ تُضِيءُ مِنْهَا أَعْنَاقُ الْإِبِلِ بِبُصْرَى وَهَذَا الْكَلَامُ إِنَّمَا نَحْفَظُهُ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ لِأَبِي ذَرٍّ طَرِيقًا غَيْرَ هَذَا الطَّرِيقِ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ أَنَّ حَبِيبَ بْنَ جَمَّازٍ رَوَى عَنْهُ غَيْرُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ وَلَا حَدَّثَ بِحَدِيثٍ غَيْرِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَزَلْنَا ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةَ فَتَعَجَّلَتْ رِجَالٌ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ وَبَاتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبِتْنَا مَعَهُ فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ سَأَلَ فَقَالَ تَعَجَّلُوا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ وَالنِّسَاءُ أَمَا أَنَّهُمْ سَيَدَعُونَهَا أَحْسَنَ مَا كَانَتْ وَقَالَ لِلَّذِينَ أَقَامُوا مَعَهُ مَعْرُوفًا ثُمَّ قَالَ لَيْتَ شَعْرِي مَتَى تَخْرُجُ نَارٌ مِنَ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ جَبَلِ الْوَرْقَانِ تُضِيءُ مِنْهَا أَعْنَاقُ الْإِبِلِ بِبُصْرَى وَهَذَا الْكَلَامُ إِنَّمَا نَحْفَظُهُ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ لِأَبِي ذَرٍّ طَرِيقًا غَيْرَ هَذَا الطَّرِيقِ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ أَنَّ حَبِيبَ بْنَ جَمَّازٍ رَوَى عَنْهُ غَيْرُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ وَلَا حَدَّثَ بِحَدِيثٍ غَيْرِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ

Muhammad ibn Ma'mar narrated to us, he said: Wahb ibn Jarir narrated to us, he said: my father narrated to us, he said: I heard al-A'mash narrating from 'Amr ibn Murrah, from 'Abdullah ibn al-Harith, from Habib ibn Himaz, from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: We were traveling with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and we stopped at Dhu al-Hulayfah. Some men hastened to Madinah, while the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) spent the night there and we spent the night with him. When morning came, he asked and was told: "They hastened to Madinah and the women." He said: "Indeed they will abandon it at its finest state." And he spoke kindly to those who stayed with him. Then he said: "I wonder when a fire will emerge from Yemen, from the mountain of al-Warqan, illuminating the necks of camels at Busra." This narration - we only preserve it from Abu Dharr through this chain, and we do not know of any other chain from Abu Dharr. And we do not know that anyone narrated from Habib ibn Jammaz other than 'Abdullah ibn al-Harith, nor that he narrated any hadith other than this one.
