وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَانِئٍ قَالَ نَا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسَ قَالَ نَا شَيْبَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ظَبْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ثَلَاثَةٌ يُحِبُّهُمُ اللَّهُ وَثَلَاثَةٌ يُبْغِضُهُمُ اللَّهُ يُحِبُّ اللَّهُ رَجُلًا كَانَ فِي قَوْمٍ فَأَتَاهُمْ سَائِلٌ يَسْأَلُهُمْ بِوَجْهِ اللَّهِ لَا يَسْأَلُهُمْ بِقَرَابَةٍ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهُمْ فَيُخَلُّوا عَنْهُ وَخَلَّفَ بِأَعْقَابِهِمْ حَيْثُ لَا يَرَاهُ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَمَنْ أَعْطَاهُ وَيُحِبُّ رَجُلًا كَانَ فِي كَتِيبَةٍ فَانْكَشَفَتْ وَكَرَّ يُقَاتِلُ حَتَّى يَفْتَحَ اللَّهُ لَهُ أَوْ يُقْتَلَ وَيُحِبُّ رَجُلًا كَانَ فِي قَوْمٍ فَأَدْلَجُوا فَطَالَتْ دَلْجَتُهُمْ ثُمَّ نَزَلُوا مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّوْمُ أَحَبُّ إِلَى أَحَدِهِمْ مِمَّا يَعْدِلُ بِهِ فَنَامُوا وَقَامَ يَتْلُو آيَاتِي وَيَتَمَلَّقُنِي وَيُبْغِضُ الشَّيْخَ الزَّانِيَ وَالْبَخِيلَ وَالْمُتَكَبِّرَ أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ وَالْمُخْتَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ قَالَ نَا أَبُو حَفْصٍ الْأَبَّارُ قَالَ نَا مَنْصُورٌ عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَمْ يُدْخِلْ بَيْنَ رِبْعِيٍّ وَبَيْنَ أَبِي ذَرٍّ زَيْدَ بْنَ ظَبْيَانَ وَقَالَ فِي حَدِيثِهِ وَالْفَقِيرَ الْمُخْتَالَ وَقَدْ رَوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَفَعَهُ رَوَى ذَلِكَ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ثَلَاثَةٌ يُحِبُّهُمُ اللَّهُ وَثَلَاثَةٌ يُبْغِضُهُمُ اللَّهُ يُحِبُّ اللَّهُ رَجُلًا كَانَ فِي قَوْمٍ فَأَتَاهُمْ سَائِلٌ يَسْأَلُهُمْ بِوَجْهِ اللَّهِ لَا يَسْأَلُهُمْ بِقَرَابَةٍ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهُمْ فَيُخَلُّوا عَنْهُ وَخَلَّفَ بِأَعْقَابِهِمْ حَيْثُ لَا يَرَاهُ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَمَنْ أَعْطَاهُ وَيُحِبُّ رَجُلًا كَانَ فِي كَتِيبَةٍ فَانْكَشَفَتْ وَكَرَّ يُقَاتِلُ حَتَّى يَفْتَحَ اللَّهُ لَهُ أَوْ يُقْتَلَ وَيُحِبُّ رَجُلًا كَانَ فِي قَوْمٍ فَأَدْلَجُوا فَطَالَتْ دَلْجَتُهُمْ ثُمَّ نَزَلُوا مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّوْمُ أَحَبُّ إِلَى أَحَدِهِمْ مِمَّا يَعْدِلُ بِهِ فَنَامُوا وَقَامَ يَتْلُو آيَاتِي وَيَتَمَلَّقُنِي وَيُبْغِضُ الشَّيْخَ الزَّانِيَ وَالْبَخِيلَ وَالْمُتَكَبِّرَ أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ وَالْمُخْتَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ قَالَ نَا أَبُو حَفْصٍ الْأَبَّارُ قَالَ نَا مَنْصُورٌ عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَمْ يُدْخِلْ بَيْنَ رِبْعِيٍّ وَبَيْنَ أَبِي ذَرٍّ زَيْدَ بْنَ ظَبْيَانَ وَقَالَ فِي حَدِيثِهِ وَالْفَقِيرَ الْمُخْتَالَ وَقَدْ رَوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَفَعَهُ رَوَى ذَلِكَ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ

And Ibrahim ibn Hani' narrated to us, he said: Adam ibn Abi Iyas narrated to us, he said: Shayban - meaning Ibn 'Abd al-Rahman - narrated to us, from Mansur, from Rib'i, from Zayd ibn Zabyan, from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) who said: "There are three whom Allah loves and three whom Allah hates. Allah loves a man who was among a group when a beggar came to them asking them for the sake of Allah, not asking them because of any kinship between him and them, and they turned him away. Then one of them stayed behind and gave to him secretly where none could see him except Allah and the one to whom he gave. And Allah loves a man who was in a military detachment that was routed, yet he charged forward fighting until Allah granted him victory or he was killed. And Allah loves a man who was among travelers who journeyed through the night and traveled long, then they stopped at the end of the night when sleep was dearer to any of them than anything comparable, and they slept, but he stood reciting My verses and supplicating Me. And Allah hates the old man who commits adultery, the miser, and the arrogant" - I think he said "and the boastful." Al-Hasan ibn 'Arafah also narrated it to us, he said: Abu Hafs al-Abbar narrated to us, he said: Mansur narrated to us, from Rib'i, from Abu Dharr, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he did not insert Zayd ibn Zabyan between Rib'i and Abu Dharr, and he said in his hadith: "and the poor man who is boastful." Al-A'mash also narrated this hadith from Mansur from Rib'i from 'Abdullah, raising it - narrated by Abu Bakr ibn 'Ayyash.
