أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ ثنا أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ كَانَتِ الْأَنْصَارُ يُعْطُونَ فِي الزَّكَاةِ الشَّيْءَ الدُّونَ مِنَ التَّمْرِ فَنَزَلَتْ {يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنْفِقُوا مِنْ طَيِّبَاتِ مَا كَسَبْتُمْ وَمِمَّا أَخْرَجْنَا لَكُمْ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ وَلَا تَيَمَّمُوا الْخَبِيثَ مِنْهُ تُنْفِقُونَ وَلَسْتُمْ بِآخِذِيهِ إِلَّا أَنْ تُغْمِضُوا فِيهِ} [البقرة 267] قَالَ فَالدُّونُ هُوَ الْخَبِيثُ وَلَوْ كَانَ لَكَ عَلَى إِنْسَانٍ شَيْءٌ فَأَعْطَاكَ شَيْئًا دُونَ فَقَدْ نَقَصَكَ بَعْضَ حَقِّكَ فَإِذَا قَبِلْتَهُ فَهُوَ الْإِغْمَاضُ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz and Abu Sa'id ibn Abi Amr narrated to us: Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us: Ibrahim ibn Marzuq narrated to us: Abu Hudhayfa narrated from Sufyan, from al-Suddi, from Abu Malik, from al-Bara' who said: The Ansar used to give inferior dates in zakah. Then the verse was revealed: 'O you who believe, spend from the good things which you have earned and from that which We have produced for you from the earth. And do not aim at that which is bad to spend from it while you would not take it yourselves except with closed eyes' [al-Baqara 267]. He said: The inferior is the bad, and if someone owed you something and gave you something inferior, he has reduced some of your right. If you accept it, that is the closing of the eyes.
