وَأنبأ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ ثنا جَرِيرٌ ح وَأنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِئْسَمَا لِأَحَدِهِمْ أَنْ يَقُولَ نَسِيتُ آيَةَ كَيْتَ وَكَيْتَ بَلْ هُوَ نُسِّيَ اسْتَذْكِرُوا الْقُرْآنَ فَلَهُوَ أَشَدُّ تَفَصِّيًا مِنْ صُدُورِ الرِّجَالِ مِنَ النَّعَمِ مِنْ عُقُلِهَا رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ وَمُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Muhammad al-Muqri' informed us, from al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn Ishaq, from Yusuf ibn Ya'qub, from Abu al-Rabi', from Jarir. And Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, from Muhammad ibn Ya'qub, from Imran ibn Musa, from Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah, from Jarir, from Mansur, from Abu Wa'il, from Abdullah who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "How bad it is for one of them to say, 'I have forgotten such and such a verse.' Rather, he was made to forget. Keep reviewing the Quran, for it slips away from the hearts of men more easily than camels from their hobbles." Al-Bukhari and Muslim narrated it in their Sahih collections from Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah.
