الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz and Abu Sa'id ibn Abi Amr informed us, they said: Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us, Ahmad ibn Abd al-Hamid al-Harithi narrated to us, Abu Usamah narrated to us from al-Walid — meaning ibn Kathir. He said: Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id al-Maqburi narrated to me from his father from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed one day, then turned and said: 'O so-and-so, will you not perfect your prayer? Does the praying person not look at how he prays? He only prays for himself. By Allah, I see those behind me just as I see those in front of me.'
