أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أنبأ عَلِيٌّ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي دَاوُدَ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ وَأُسَيْدُ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ قَالَا ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي هَارُونَ الْعَبْدِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ؓ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي الْفَأْرَةِ تَقَعُ فِي السَّمْنِ أَوِ الزَّيْتِ اسْتَنْفِعُوا بِهِ وَلَا تَأْكُلُوهُ قَالَ الشَّيْخُ هَذَا هُوَ الْمَحْفُوظُ مَوْقُوفٌ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Bakr informed us: Ali reported to us: Abdullah ibn Abi Dawud reported to us: Yunus ibn Habib and Usayd ibn Asim narrated to us; they said: al-Husayn ibn Hafs narrated to us: Sufyan al-Thawri narrated to us, from Abu Harun al-Abdi, from Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him), that he said concerning a mouse that falls into ghee or oil: "Make use of it, but do not eat it." The Shaykh said: This is what is preserved [as authentic], mawquf (stopped).
