يُرِيدُ مَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ فُورَكٍ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ بْنَ فَيْرُوزَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ الْبَرَاءَ بْنَ عَازِبٍ ؓ مَا كَرِهَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَوْ نَهَى عَنْهُ مِنَ الْأَضَاحِيِّ فَقَالَ قَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ هَكَذَا وَيَدِي أَقْصَرُ مِنْ يَدِهِ فَقَالَ أَرْبَعٌ لَا يُجْزِينَ الْعَوْرَاءُ الْبَيِّنُ عَوَرُهَا وَالْمَرِيضَةُ الْبَيِّنُ مَرَضُهَا وَالْعَرْجَاءُ الْبَيِّنُ ظَلَعُهَا وَالْكَسِيرَةُ الَّتِي لَا تَنْقَى قُلْتُ إِنِّي أَكْرَهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ فِي السِّنِّ نَقْصٌ أَوْ فِي الْأُذُنِ نَقْصٌ فَقَالَ فَمَا كَرِهْتَ مِنْهُ فَدَعْهُ وَلَا تُحَرِّمْهُ عَلَى أَحَدٍ 19098 أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ قَتَادَةَ أنبأ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْخُزَاعِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو شُعَيْبٍ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ثنا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ فَيْرُوزَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِنَحْوِهِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ سَمَاعَ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مِنْ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ ثُمَّ نَظَرْنَا فَإِذَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ لَمْ يَسْمَعْهُ مِنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ فَيْرُوزَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
He meant what Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn Furak informed us, Abdullah ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Yunus ibn Habib narrated to us, Abu Dawud narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us from Sulayman ibn Abd al-Rahman who said: I heard Ubayd ibn Fayruz say: I asked al-Bara' ibn Azib (may Allah be pleased with him): "What did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) dislike or prohibit regarding sacrificial animals?" He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood like this - and my hand is shorter than his hand - and said: "Four are not acceptable: the one-eyed whose defect is obvious, the sick whose illness is obvious, the lame whose lameness is obvious, and the broken one that has no marrow." I said: I dislike deficiency in the tooth or the ear. He said: "Whatever you dislike, leave it, but do not prohibit it for anyone." Abu Nasr ibn Qatadah informed us, Ali ibn al-Fadl al-Khuza'i informed us, Abu Shu'ayb narrated to us, Ali ibn al-Madini narrated to us, Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us from Sulayman ibn Abd al-Rahman from Ubayd ibn Fayruz, and he mentioned the hadith similarly, but did not mention Sulayman ibn Abd al-Rahman's hearing from Ubayd. Ali said: Then we examined and found that Sulayman ibn Abd al-Rahman did not hear it from Ubayd ibn Fayruz.
