أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ مَطَرٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ ثنا أَبِي ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ صَعْصَعَةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ إِنَّا نَأْتِي الْقَرْيَةَ بِالسَّوَادِ فَنَسْتَفْتِحُ الْبَابَ فَإِنْ لَمْ يُفْتَحْ لَنَا كَسَرْنَا الْبَابَ فَأَخَذْنَا الشَّاةَ فَذَبَحْنَاهَا قَالَ وَلِمَ تَفْعَلُونَ ذَاكَ؟ قَالَ قُلْتُ إِنَّا نَرَاهُ لَنَا حَلَالًا قَالَ فَتَلَا هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ {ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا لَيْسَ عَلَيْنَا فِي الْأُمِّيِّينَ سَبِيلٌ وَيَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللهِ الْكَذِبَ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ} [آل عمران 75] وَهَذَا إِنْ كَانَ فِي الْمُعَاهَدِينَ؛ فَلِأَنَّهُمْ لَمْ يُصَالِحُوهُمْ عَلَى الضِّيَافَةِ فَلَمْ يَحِلَّ لَهُمْ تَنَاوُلُهَا وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu 'Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, Abu 'Amr ibn Matar narrated to us, Yahya ibn Muhammad narrated to us, 'Ubaydullah ibn Mu'adh narrated to us, my father narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us from Abu Ishaq, from Sa'sa'ah, who said: I said to Ibn 'Abbas: "We come to a village in the countryside (al-Sawad) and knock on the door. If it is not opened for us, we break the door and take a sheep and slaughter it." He said: "Why do you do that?" I said: "We consider it permissible for us." He then recited this verse: {That is because they said: 'There is no blame on us regarding the unlettered people.' And they speak falsehood about Allah while they know.}"
