أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْفَارِسِيُّ أنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْخَلَّالِيُّ أنا أَبُو يَعْلَى ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو الزِّنَادِ أَخْبَرَنِي الثِّقَةُ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْحَرَّةِ حِينَ أُصِيبُوا كَانَ الْقَضَاءُ فِيهِمْ عَلَى زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ وَفِي النَّاسِ يَوْمَئِذٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَمِنْ أَبْنَائِهِمْ نَاسٌ كَثِيرٌ

Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Farisi informed us: Isma'il ibn Ahmad al-Khallali informed us: Abu Ya'la narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Bakkar narrated to us: Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi al-Zinad said: Abu al-Zinad told me: A trustworthy source informed me that when the people of al-Harrah were killed, the judgment among them followed the rulings of Zayd ibn Thabit, and among the people at that time were many Companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and their children.
