حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الرَّقِّيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ مُثِّلَ بِهِ أَوْ حُرِّقَ بِالنَّارِ فَهُوَ حُرٌّ وَهُوَ مَوْلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ قَالَ فَأُتِيَ بِرَجُلٍ قَدْ خُصِيَ يُقَالُ لَهُ سَنْدَرٌ فَأَعْتَقَهُ ثُمَّ أَتَى أَبَا بَكْرٍ بَعْدَ وَفَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَصَنَعَ إِلَيْهِ خَيْرًا ثُمَّ أَتَى عُمَرَ بَعْدَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَصَنَعَ إِلَيْهِ خَيْرًا ثُمَّ إِنَّهُ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ إِلَى مِصْرَ فَكَتَبَ لَهُ عُمَرُ إِلَى عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ أَنْ اصْنَعْ بِهِ خَيْرًا أَوْ احْفَظْ وَصِيَّةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيهِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ma'mar ibn Sulayman al-Raqqi told us: al-Hajjaj told us, from Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: Whoever is mutilated or burned with fire is free, and he becomes a freedman of Allah and His Messenger. He said: Then a man who had been castrated, called Sandar, was brought, and he was set free. He then came to Abu Bakr after the death of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and Abu Bakr did him good; then he came to Umar after Abu Bakr, and Umar did him good. Then he wished to go out to Egypt, so Umar wrote for him to Amr ibn al-As: Do him good, or else uphold the bequest of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, concerning him.
