حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ وَسُفْيَانُ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ الْمَكِّيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ يَسْتَأْذِنُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْجِهَادِ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَحَيٌّ وَالِدَاكَ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَفِيهِمَا فَجَاهِدْ حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو عَنْ الْجِهَادِ فَقَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Waki' narrated to us: Mis'ar and Sufyan narrated from Habib ibn Abi Thabit from Abu al-Abbas al-Makki from Abdullah ibn Amr who said: A man came seeking permission from the Prophet (peace be upon him) for jihad. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said to him: "Are your parents alive?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Then strive in serving them." Bahz narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated, Habib ibn Abi Thabit informed me from Abu al-Abbas who said: I asked Abdullah ibn Amr about jihad, and he said: "A man came to the Prophet (peace be upon him)" - and he mentioned the hadith.
