Waki' told us, Sufyan told us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Najrani, from Ibn 'Umar, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was brought a drunken man, and he flogged him the prescribed punishment, then asked, "What did you drink?" He said, "Raisins and dates." He said, "Each of the two suffices on its own without the other."
