When your waiting period ends, inform me." She said: Then suitors proposed to me, among them Mu'awiyah and Abu Jahm. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "As for Mu'awiyah, he is poor, of light circumstances; and Abu Jahm beats women; but - there is a certain harshness in him toward women - marry Usamah ibn Zayd," or he said, "Marry Usamah ibn Zayd."
