حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ مَرْثَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْيَزَنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي بَصْرَةَ الْغِفَارِيِّ قَالَ لَقِيتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ وَهُوَ يَسِيرُ إِلَى مَسْجِدِ الطُّورِ لِيُصَلِّيَ فِيهِ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ لَوْ أَدْرَكْتُكَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَرْتَحِلَ مَا ارْتَحَلْتَ قَالَ فَقَالَ وَلِمَ قَالَ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا تُشَدُّ الرِّحَالُ إِلَّا إِلَى ثَلَاثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَالْمَسْجِدِ الْأَقْصَى وَمَسْجِدِي.

Ya'qub told us, he said: my father told us, from Ibn Ishaq, he said: Yazid ibn Abi Habib told me, from Marthad ibn Abdullah al-Yazani, from Abu Basrah al-Ghifari, he said: I met Abu Hurayrah while he was traveling to the mosque of al-Tur to pray there. I said to him: "Had I met you before you set out, you would not have set out." He said: "Why?" I said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Journeys should not be undertaken except to three mosques: the Sacred Mosque, the Farthest Mosque, and my mosque.'"
