حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سَلِيطُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ أُمِّهِ عَنْ سَلْمَى بِنْتِ قَيْسٍ وَكَانَتْ إِحْدَى خَالَاتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ صَلَّتْ مَعَهُ الْقِبْلَتَيْنِ وَكَانَتْ إِحْدَى نِسَاءِ بَنِي عَدِيِّ بْنِ النَّجَّارِ قَالَتْ جِئْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَبَايَعْتُهُ فِي نِسْوَةٍ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ فَلَمَّا شَرَطَ عَلَيْنَا أَنْ لَا نُشْرِكَ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا وَلَا نَسْرِقَ وَلَا نَزْنِيَ وَلَا نَقْتُلَ أَوْلَادَنَا وَلَا نَأْتِيَ بِبُهْتَانٍ نَفْتَرِيهِ بَيْنَ أَيْدِينَا وَأَرْجُلِنَا وَلَا نَعْصِيَهُ فِي مَعْرُوفٍ قَالَ قَالَ وَلَا تَغْشُشْنَ أَزْوَاجَكُنَّ قَالَتْ فَبَايَعْنَاهُ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفْنَا فَقُلْتُ لِامْرَأَةٍ مِنْهُنَّ ارْجِعِي فَاسْأَلِي رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا غِشُّ أَزْوَاجِنَا قَالَتْ فَسَأَلَتْهُ فَقَالَ تَأْخُذُ مَالَهُ فَتُحَابِي بِهِ غَيْرَهُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ya'qub narrated to us: My father narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq, who said: Salit ibn Ayyub ibn al-Hakam ibn Sulaym narrated to me, from his mother, from Salma bint Qays - who was one of the maternal aunts of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, had prayed with him toward the two prayer-directions, and was one of the women of Banu Adi ibn al-Najjar - who said: I came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and gave him my pledge of allegiance along with a group of women from the Ansar. When he stipulated to us that we should not associate anything with Allah, nor steal, nor commit adultery, nor kill our children, nor produce any slander that we fabricate between our hands and our feet [i.e. falsely attribute a child], and not disobey him in what is right - he said, and also "do not deceive your husbands." She said: So we pledged allegiance to him, then we left, and I said to one of the women, "Go back and ask the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, what deceiving our husbands means." She said: So she asked him, and he said, "That she take his wealth and give it preferentially to someone else."
